ENGLISH-NEW ZEALAND ALLIANCES
('Received February 20, 7 p.m.) LONDON, February 17. The marriage of Lieutenant G. Tryon, of the Now Zealand Expeditionary Force, son of the late Captain and Mrs. R. Tryon, and Miss Marjorie Aterney, eldest daughter of Sir Harry and Lady Verney, will take place at Harrow-on-the-Hill, London, on March S. Another interesting Euglish-Ngw Zealand alliance is that of Flying Officer B. L .Sims, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Sims, Steeple Ashton, and Section Officer Margaret Mavis. Mail, eldest daughter of Squadron Leader AV. Man, DjF.C., and Mrs, Man, AVellington.
Sir Harry A’crney is the fourth baronet. He served in the Great AVar and was for some time private secretary to the Secretary of State for the Colonies.
