NARROW ESCAPE IN RAID

(By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright.) (Special Correspondent.) LONDON, February 21. Mr. and Mrs. Jordan had a narrow escape in a recent London raid. Four high-explosive bombs crashed nearby, one within 200 yards, hitting a home for old people, many of whom were killed. “The shook was like an earthquake,” said Mr. Jordan. “We were lucky that the bombs exploded on a hill. We were at the bottom of the hill,, so we did not receive the full blast of the explosion. We certainly do not wish to have bombs any closer.” ’
