RELIGIOUS NOTICES. CHRISTADF.LPHIAN LECTURE (God Willing) 1.0.0. F. HALL, ALLEN STREET (Opp. Paramount Theatre, Courtenay Place), SUNDAY, At 7 p.m. Subject: “WHAT HAPPENS WHEN PALESTINE IS INVADED.” Remarkable Latter-Day Prophecies About To Be Fulfilled. Many Bible prophecies refer to a latterday invasion of the Holy Land (See Ezekiel chap 38, Eze. 39:1-10,. Zech. 14:1-3, Dan. 11:40-45, Joel 3:1-2, Isa. 17:12-14, Jer. 30: 3-7). There are sound reasons for believing that these prophecies will receive fulfilment in the near future. Many people say, however, that students of prophecy made the same claim in 1914. In reply to this contention it will be eliown in the course of this lecture that no such claim was justified iu 1914; that the situation today from a prophetical point of view is entirely different from that which existed in 1914. Before the foretold invasion of Palestine could occur certain preliminary prophecies required fulfilment, i.e., (1) Turkey to lose Palestine. (2) Britain to become possessed of Palestine. (3) The Jews to be in process of restoration to Palestine under the protection of Great Britain. (4) Continental Europe to become controlled by ono man—" Gog of the land of Magog, chief “Nasi" (Heb.) of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal.” (King of the North). In 1914 not one of these prophecies had been fulfilled. Today, however, Nos. 1, 2 and 3 have received fulfilment and No. 4 is now in process of fulfilment. .Immediately item No. 4 receives complete fulfilment the stage Is set for the invasion of the Holy Laud, an event which will bring with it Divine intervention and a display of super-natural power resulting in the utter destruction of the forces of the King of the North (Dan. 11:40-45).
