TROTTING HANDICAPPER RESIGNS

Dominion Special Service. CHRISTCHURCH, February 6. Mr. G. Paul, handicapper to the New Zealand Trotting Conference, has resigned on account of ill-health, and Mr. A. K. Neilson, who for two years has been assistant secretary to the New Zealand Trotting Association, has been appointed to the position. , Mr. Paul was handicapper to the Auckland, Wellington. New Zealand Metropolitan and New Brighton Trotting Clubs for several yearn before the yards system of handicapping was adopted by the New Zealand Trotting Conference. About 10 ve.-irs ago he compiled Ihe tables governing the administration of the new handicapping system, ami when the conference took control of handicapping for all clubs Mr. Paul was appointed senior handicapper.
