ILFORD TRAIN SMASH

M.P. Among Eight Killed LONDON, January. 17. Eight persons were killed and 30 injured when a train from Norwich ran into the rear of a train from Yarmouth at Ilford station last night. Lieut.Colonel F. F. A. Heilgers, M.P. for Bury St. Edmonds was among those , killed. The Norwich train was moving comparatively slowly, otherwise the loss of life would have been heavier.
