Move To Start Interclub Competitions

The management committee of the Wellington Lawn Tennis Association at a meeting this week considered proposals for some limited form of interclub competitions to be held during the season, and clubs will shortly be circularized by tlie association with a view to seeing what measure of support would be received. By reason of the ball position any form of intercliib competitions must be in the nature of friendly matches played either on a club's own courts or on the association’s hard courts nt Mirajnar, the clubs themselves providing the bulls. Arrangements are being made for the association’s courts to bo marked out so that they will be fully available very shortly both for any form of. intereliib mulches that may bo arranged and for public hire. The Salamanca Tennis Club and the Knrori United Tennis Club wore both granted renfliliation to Ihr association.
