IMPORTANT SESSION
(British Official Wireless.) (Received December 6, 7 p.m.) _ RUGBY, December O. The Home Secretary, Mr. Morrison, stressing the importance of the present session of Farliament in a speech at Wembley, said that the King’s Speech envisaged the possibility of farreaching legislative action or a definition of policy on such _ vital issues as education, social insurance, a comprehensive health service, workmen’s compensation, the development and use of land, and reforms of the electoral system. „ Adding that Britain had a Parliament of parties united on great national questions, Mr. Morrison said that no doubt party politics would return sooner or later, but he expressed the hope that a spirit of unity would animate the legislature in dealing with the opening phase of the reconstruction programme. On principle, the measures envisaged for the coming session should not create sharp differences.
