Rev. H. W. Newall To Be Full-Time Secretary

Wellington is to lose the services of the Rev. H. W. Newell, M.A., 8.D., who has been minister of the Terrace Congregational Church for the last 14 years, and a prominent Rotarian for the greater part of that time. Mr. Newell has accepted the invitation to become the first full-time secretar yof the National Council of Churches in New Zealand, witn headquarters iu Christchurch, and is to start his new duties early in February. Mr. Newell left for Christchurch last evening. The appointment is the outcome of the World Conference of Churces, held in India some five years ago, when it was decided that there should be a National Council of Churches in each, country.
