POSSIBLE CHANGES
Manpower Regulations Certain amendments to the manpower regulations, now under consideration, were discussed at the two-day conference, which concluded in Wellington on Friday, of manpower officers from all parts of New Zealand. There were about 50 present. ' Opportunity was given for full discussion of maniwwer difficulties in. any district, and for an exchange of ideas among manpower officers. There was a full discussion on the problems of labour in seasonal industries, and the use of University students and secondary school labour, particularly for vegetable production.
