The town north of Kiev which was captured yesterday is Bynicr, 25 miles from that city and only 15 miles from the railway leading from Kiev to Poland. On the Velikiye Luki front the Russians are now 25 miles from the vital north-south lateral railway from Polotsk. Io the Leningrad front.
