BURGESS—In loving memory of Sgt. James Michael Burgess, dearly loved third son of Mr. and -Mrs. W. Burgess, Marton, and loved brother of Ray, Chris (overseas), Cliff and Dorothea, killed on air operations. November 6, 1942. Buried at Escoublac-coy, France; aged 31 years. It was not fame or glory. That called him from our side; ’Twas just that age-old story, For those he loved, he died.
‘DONALD. —In loving memory of Sgt. Keith L. (Donald, ‘B.AJF., younger son of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Donald. Paekakariki, killed on active service, November 7, 1942. Buried at Bigbi, Malta.
