The Governor-General lias announced that His Majesty the King has been graciously pleased to approve the following awards to members of the Royal Zealand Air Force, in recognition or gallantry displayed in flying operations against the enemy in the bolomon tsla ilistinguished Flying Cross. — Flight Lieutenant Errol Howard Brown, flying Officer Geoffrey Bryson I’ isken. Distinguished Flying Medal. Sergeant Pilot Roland Charles Cecil Nairn. Sergeant Nairn, who h “s been swarded the D.F.M., was attached to the 14 h Fighter Squadron of the R.N.Z.A..’., and is now in the Pacific. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Nairn. Pahautnnui. and before enlisting in the Air Force was on the staff of the illustrations department of the “Evening Post.
As the result of a fall about 5.25 p.m. yesterday. Ivan Anderson, scholar, •> Military Road, Lower Hutt, received a fractured wrist and was taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance.
