Last week, 183 places —including 17 chief post office centres —attained their National War Savings quotas. In 15 of the 18 postal districts the full district quota was obtained, enabling the National Savings flags to be broken out at all post offices in those districts. Five more places recorded their 100th weekly success, these being Wanganui. Danuevirke, Norsewood, Pongaroa and Waikari.
