ELECTION ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS WELLINGTON SUBURBS ELECTORS. THANKS. MY very grateful and sincere thanks go out to those Electors of Wellington Suburbs who voted for ine, as an official Labour candidate, ou Saturday. It is a great honour to be trusted by so many of one’s fellow citizens. It is also a great responsibility. In accepting the honour with genuine and, I hope, modest pride, I also accept the responsibility with a full sense of all it implies. It is my purpose to serve my constituents in this second period of office iu the same whole-hearted way as I did in the first. With their co operation and goodwill it will be easy to do this. I therefore need hardly add, I again look to them for that. To those Labour folk who worked so strenuously and unselfishly to secure my return I tender a special word of personal thanks. Their support and energy made my task the easier and every hour Of the contest a real pleasure.
