Questions For Labour

Sir, —There are two very important questions I would like to ask of the Labour Party:— 1. We are led to believe that as far as New Zealand is concerned the war situation is much easier. This is borne out by the fact that air raid shelters are being dismantled and tank traps closed. If, this is so, would the Labour Party please tell me why the war risk insurance on private dwellings has not been reduced? 1 would also ask if the insured party can expect any rebate. 2. To what use, if any, are the funds being put which were collected by the union .secretaries for the purpose of commencing a Labour daily. An answer to these queries would be very much appreciated. —I tun, etc., FAIR DEAL. Wellington, September 23.
