SMALL BOY DROWNED

IBy Telegraph.—Press Association.! - AUCKLAND, September 17. One of two small boys who were carried ojit to sea in a boat from Weymouth Beach was drowned today. He was Lrevor lan Hare, aged five, son of L/Ac. It. G. Hare and Mrs. Hare. Manurcwa. His companion. David Wilkinson, aged six was rescued. ‘The boat was not noticed till it was about a quarter of a boys then jumped out and Ha'-e attempt ed to swim to the beach. This he tailed to do. His body lias not been recovered. The other boy clung to the boat till rescued. _____
