MR. CAIN RESIGNS
Composite Ministry For Victoria MELBOURNE, September 15. The Premier, Mr. Cain, has resigned after his Labour Government had been in office for two days. The resignation followed the refusal of the Governor o, Victoria to grant a dissolution as the resuit of the Government’s defeat in the House bv a combination of the United Australia Party anil the Country Party. Mr. Dunstan, the former Premier, will form a composite United Australia Party-Conn try Party Ministry.
