Are ox-Trade Union officials and others of that ilk the only ones to be trusted with the affairs of State? “Advertising'magnate” is a new phrase. Mr Appleton's business, conducted for many years on co-partnership lines, was handed over to the staff on liberal terms 11 years ago. Consultation with them as to their treatment will enable “The Standard” to write a further testimonial.
