BUTTER FOR BRITAIN
A correspondent to "The Dominion,” expressing appreciation of the comment on the need for rationing blitter in order to augment supplies for shipment to Great Britain, published in an editorial article yesterday, made the suggestion that, tbe use of cream in this countrv could be curtailed without creating any hardship. He said that both in shops and in private homes a very large quantity of cream was used daily, and if this supply were diverted to the manufacture of butter it would be a worthwhile contribution. Tlie provision of cream, in times such as these, could reasonably lie regarded as a luxury, but tbe shipment of butter to the Mother Country was a real necessity.
