For the third year in succession the Trelawney Stud’s Foxbridge is the leading sire in New Zealand. . His progeny have been racing for live seasons. In the first season they won less than £lOOO. The nekt season lie was sixth in the list of winning stallions, and has headed the list ever since. Fox-bridge is a brown horse by the Ascot Cup winner Foxlaw from Bridgemount, foaled in England in 1030, and was imported to New Zealand in 1035 by -Mr. L. 11. Otway, Cambridge. His progeny have won more than £70,000 in the Dominion iu five seasons, and a further £7OOO in A ,bdra ' Ba, giving him a grand total of £-83.000. The leading 20 sires for the 1042-43 Boa ; son which closed on July 31 are as rollons.
