Taupiri Coal Mines Profit Dominion Special Service. • AUCKLAND.'August 9. The accounts of the Taupiri Coal Mines, Ltd., for the year ended March 31, show a net profit of £12,755. compared with £9532 last year and £9407 in 1941. The directors report that owing to the delay in securing a settlement with the Government they have decided to submit the accounts on the basis of the amount claiin* ed from the Government, and for a similar reason they had earlier declared s. dividend of 1/3 a share, which is at the. same rate as last year. The dividends on the ordinary and preference shares require £9405, leaving a balance to bo carried forward of .£3350. N.Z. Farmers’ Fertilize!’ Referring to the net profit over the last three years at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Farmers’ Fertilizer Company, Ltd., the chairman, Mr, 8.
