LIFTING OF BAN

LONDON, August 8. The ban on the export of the Communist newspaper “Daily Worker” will be lifted from tomorrow, says the Press Association. An application for the removal of the ban. which was imposed in May, 1940, was made shortly after the republication of the “Daily Worker” last September. A number of . influential unions supported the application.
