Mr. Justice Blair is presiding at the quarterly sessions of the Supreme Court nt Napier mid Mr. Justice Johnston at (lie sessions at I) anganui. Dr. L. E. Austin left Wellington for the south yesterday. Mr. J. Tyler. Auckland city engineer, and Mr. J. Stanton, the city solicitor, are visiting Wellington. The Bev. Jasper Calder, M.8.E., arrived in Wellington .yesterday from Auckland. Mr. H. S. Innes, assistant manager for the Union Steam Ship Company at Auckland. Ims retired after nearly 47 years service with the company. Mr. Innes, who held his Auckland position for about nine years. spent most of bis service witii the company in (he northern city, but he was on the staffs of the New Plymouth, Dunedin and Napier branches for varying terms.
