Dominion Breweries’ net profit for the year was £38,479, compared .with £-swlfor the previous year. Taxation absorbed £167,236 of the company’s earnings. Anthony Hordern Profit Profit of £109,257 shown by Anthony Hordern and Sons, Ltd., Sydney, for the year to February 24, is only £1096 less than that for 1911-42. It is reached after allowing £51,246 for depreciation against £53,613 last year. Dividends are . unchanged, ordinary of 5 per cent, requiring £02,5(10. and preference of 5.81. per cent., absorbing .£-13,59-1. Carry forward is increased to £30.518 from £33,355.
