100 Mammoth Bombs Included BRIEF VISITATION

LONDON February 3. Bombers ofc the Royal Air Force last night attacked Cologne, the great German industrial city and Rhine port which was blitzed so intensely last year. The Air Ministry states that manv thousands of incendiary bombs and a great weight of explosives, including 100 4000-pound-ers, were dropped in well under 20 minutes. Five of tbe bombers are missing. Four Focke-Wulf bombers raided a town in the south-east of England last night. There were some casualties and a number of houses were destroyed. Rescue squads are working to extricate trapped civilians, and a rest station has been opened for the people who are homeless. The raiders were chased over the Cnaunel by fighters.
