Nurses’ Christian Union Annual Conference
Beginning with the annual meeting and a reception tonight, members ol the New Zealand Nurses' Christian Union wl ll hold their annual conlerenee u '' aJington, extending over Saturday and concluding with a united couterence WUU and a missionary rally on Sunday . LiKy one delegates from all parts ot the Dominion .will be present and will be btlktTbe P presidei)‘t. Mrs. Bayldon Ewen, will preside at the meeting tonight and Miss M. 1. Lambie, 0.8. E., a member ot the advisory board, will be the speaker. Ibe report to be presented shows steady maintenance of the work. Ihe galtormg, which will be held in the Central Baptist Church, will end with an mlormal reActivities tomorrow will be at Seatoun, 1 v .inning with discussions and group reports at the Seatoun Presbyterian Church. Recreation, if the weather is lute, will include swimming, followed by lunch at Mrs. Ewen’s home in Dundas Street. At night delegates will be the guestsi ot the matron and nursing stall at Wellington Hospital, when there will be a pcrtoi-m--anee of the missionary play Blue Low 1, by nurses from the Kilbirnie hostel. Supper will conclude the evening. Sunday morning service is to be at st. Peter's Church, Willis Street, lollowed by a missionary-rally at the Central Baptist Church. Each day has beeu fully planned.
