Public Service Women’s Club The conclusion to be drawn from the rapid growth of the Public Service Women’s Club, 'Wellington, during its first year, just ended, is that the club was long overdue as a means of uniting women of the service, stated the report, presented at the annual meeting This week. The club’s aim is to make the most of the recreational time available to the uou ' ■ uniformed war - workers, the women of the Public -Service. The membership is now approaching 1000. There are circles for bridge and nrnh jong, arts, a rid crafts, drama, music, dressmaking, keep fib classes, table tennis and paddermiiiton, and all promise in- ’ creased membership.
