The Hon. F.. Jones, Minister of Defence, left Wellington yesterday for Auckland. Mr. R. Glrling-Butcher, Dominion fire controller, is visiting Auckland. Mr. J. S. Hunter, Director of National Service, is in Auckland. Mr. A. E. Ford, engineer and manager of the Auckland Transport Board, is visiting Wellington. Messrs. W. J. Gaudiu, W. Appleton, L. B. Hutton and J. F. W. Welch, who have been attending the Dominion conference of the Public Passenger Transport Association in Auckland, have returned to Wellington.
