NORTHLAND CONCERT

There was a capacity audience for the concert given bv the Ngnti-I’oneke Maori Party in St. Anne’s Hall, Northland, on Tuesday night for the next-of-kin committee, Northland brunch of the Women's Section of the Returned Services’ Association. The concert, both as an entertainment and as a means of creating added interest in the activities of the branch, was highly successful. The concert party and visiting servicemen were tile guests of the committee at supper, where Major McQueen, on behalf of the servicemen, spoke in appreciative terms of the entertainment, the efforts of the committee, and the ’ support accorded them by the Northland residents. Mr. Klngl Tahiwl thanked the committee for the hospitality extended to the Ngatl-l'oneke Party.
