NAZI MONUMENT

European Graveyard ,

(Received September 28, 9.50 p.m.)

NEW YORK, September 27. The "New York Times,” commenting on the report that the known Nazi executions have reached the almost incredible figure of 207,373, says, “Never has there been frightfulness like it in history. The. Nazi massacres, carried out in passionless discipline, .never cease; they follow the clock. “For tha first time one nation is attempting deliberately to decimate the population of the Continent. The conquerors, apparenly baulked everywhere by the growing resistance, are determined to leave, in the graves of these martyrs, at least one monument to the new order in Europe.”
