AIRGRAPH MESSAGE FROM MR. CHURCHILL

(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, September 26. On September 9, Mr. Churchill opened an airgraph service to South Africa with a message to Field-Marshal Smuts, which was received in Pretoria today. Mr. Churchill in his communication expressed gratification that the handicaps of time and space had been overcome and expressed the hope that the service would long remain to promote mutual knowledge and friendship between the two countries.
