MASTERTON RESENTMENT

tßv 'i'elegnipli — I’ress Association.i MASTERTON, July 20. Considerable resentment is being expressed at an advertisement appearing in Hawke’s Bay papers asking urgently for foodstuffs and crockery for sufferers in connexion with the earthquake. There had never' been any shortage of foodstuffs or urgent demand for crockery locally. No appeal has been made in Masterton for such, and th mayor, Mr. Jordan, knows nothing of the appeal made in the newspapers.
