SPECIAL TREATMENT OF PRISONERS
LONDON, July IG. Large quantities of rationed food .•ire being smuggled to men and women held in Brixton jail under the defence regulations. Among those receiving the food is Sir Oswald Mosley, the Fascist Party leader. The Prison Officers’ Association lias complained to the Minister of Home Security, Mr, Morrison.
“Pounds and pounds of butter, bacon, cheese and other food have been taken to detained persons, and we don’t know whore it has come from,” said an officer. 1 “These people are being pampered and molly-coddled to such an extent •..hat it. is difficult to maintain discipline. They are getting to the stage where they think they cun do as they like. Some of them have even been allowed to have radios and typewriters in their cells.”
