Senior Appointments And Promotions The following appointments and pro motions of officers in the New Zealand Military Forces were gazetted this week:— Major (temp.) H. Vickeruian, D. 5.0., 0.8. E., M.lnst.U.E., M.Se., N.Z. Defence Engineer Service Corps, has be?a appointed to a command in the Wellington district. Major H. S. Jones, 2nd! N.Z.E.F., is appointed Chief instructor, Field Wing, School of Artillery. Major T. C.- V. Rabone, 2nd. N.Z.E.L'., is appointed Commander, Engineers, Central Military District. The undermentioned staff cadets, on graduation from the Royal Military College of Australia, to be lieutenants in the N.Z. Staff Corps K. J. D. McCorkmdale, G. K. Bunce. P. F. Hewitt. A. VV. Fitchett, R. 11. K. Holloway, R. S. Gardner, R. W. K. Ainge, R. M. Mai-mi, R. M. GU Major A. 11. Thomas, General Staff Officer, Ist Grade, Southern Military District, to be Lieutenant-Colonel (temp.). Captain C. C. Duigan is appointed General Staff Officer. 2nd.. Grade. Artillery. Southern Military District, and is granted the temporary rank of Major. Captain O. F. De Joux, a Camp Quartermaster in the Southern Military District, to be Major. Captain G. H. Anderson to be Major Lieutenant (temp. Major) J. K. LI. Clark, N.Z. Corps of Signals, commanding •i Divisional Signals, to la* LieutenautColouel (temp.) while so emp.oyed Nelson, Marlborough and West. Least Regiment—Captain (temp.) 1. C. Hauk to be Major (temp.).
