Exhibition Opened To The Public In interesting display of war posters in tlie Wellington Manufacturers’ Association clubroom, Willis Street, is now open to tiie public daily from 9 a.m. till 5 p.m. , , . . Great Britain, Hie United States ot America, Canada, Australia mid Ney Zealand are represented. From Britain comes a set ol 12 yivid pictures showing various branches ot the armed forces on active service. Aircratt., naval vessels, tanks, anti-iureralt aud coastal guns, and motor-cycle units arc shown in operation. in the American section are comprehensive representations of the insignia and decorations of tlie United States Arniv. Morale posters feature chiefly Mr. , Churchill's historic messages to the Empire. Canada is represented by some particularly striking work. One poster depicts wliat at first glance appears to be a pair of blazing guns—in fact, two huge chimney stacks. It is appropriately captioned : “Big guns of the home front. — Action stations everyone. ’ Another Canadian poster presents a while elephant, with the advice: “If you dont need it, don’t buv it.” An Australian contribulion compares the free workman of the (lenioertieies with Hie Nazi slave toiling under the direction of Storm Troopers.
