The effect on navigation .of lights showing seaward from the Hutt Valley was explained to yesterday’s meeting of the Hutt Valley Electric. Power Board. He said navigation lights in the harbour had been so reduced in intensity that mariners find it practically impossible to pick them up if there are any, lights behind them.
