WORKERS' RESOLUTION

They further pledged themselves Io honour the memory of their mates who had fallen in battle by working night and day if necessary in order to protect. theii dear ones left behind. The resolution wished good luck to the members of all the services, ami congratulated the Labour Government on its war el'lort, and declared that, the men's future slogan would be “Work lor victoij, fight for victory, and. if necessary, die for victory ami the freedom that has been handed down Io us by our torefal)ioir->.” The resolution wa- adopted following addresses by the general
secretary of Hie New Zealand Workers' Union, ilf. A. Cook', and the organizer of Hie itnio.n Mr. W. Wallace.
