ATTACKS RENEWED

More Raids On Malta (British Official Wireless.) (Received April 20, 7 p.m.) RUGBY, April 19. Tlie raids on Malta were continued yesterday afternoon when Junkers S7’s again bombed an aerodrome while a larger force of Junkers 88’s attacked aerodromes, gun positions and the harbour area. Yesterday morning a number of German bombers attacked an aerodrome. Enemy figliter patrols were active all morning. Two hours after the first attack four waves of German bombers bombed tlie aerodrome and tlie harbour. 'They were engaged by tlie heavy and light anti-aircraft defences, which also engaged later raiders. In tlie morning and afternoon raids, two Junkers SS’s were destroyed and four oilier aircraft damaged. There was a fair amount of civilian damage and some casualties.
