CLOTHES TO SUIT THE SEASON
Autumn Trots At Hutt Park It was obvious that the squally weather of Saturday morning affected the a tendance at the autumn meeting of the Wellington Trotting Club, held at the Hutt Bark on Saturday. For the most part seasonable attire wa# popular, furs, coats, suits, and small, smart felt -hats being the general choice. Black and navy blues were largely featured. The earlier part of the afternoon was pleasantly sunny, but the. hills of the upper _ valley, which were enshrouded in mist, suggested that conditions were less pleasant elsewhere. Vases of pale pink antirrhinums and oilier seasonal flowers were used in ■ decoration of the tables in the diningroom, while the upper lounge was gay with large bowls of choice dahlias.
