Sentences On Soldiers
The following sentences inflicted on .soldiers by district court-martial have recently been promulgated :— Private Janies Edwards, touud guilt., of desertion. GO days’ detention. Private Henry llenery, lound guiltj- ol absence without leave, GO days’ detention. Private James Andrew Smith, lound guilty of absence without leave, GO days detention. f The court-martial was composed ot Maior G. H. Gray. M.C. (president), and Captains I'- Hopkirk and E. The iudge-advoeate was Major A o. SievwriglU. The prosecutor was -nd Lieutenant D. S. Dean, and the defending officer 2nd Lieutenant. G. C. G. feandstou.
