WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
Wellington Season Opened The Wellington Basketball Association opened the 1012 season with a knock-out tournament in two sections. Section A comprised senior A, B third, and third junior, the renuiinder of tile teams competing in section B. Twenty-eight teams competed in each section, but there were only four senior A teams —Wellington l-'.tist < ).ld Girls. Kia Ora, Aspro, and 1.Itind Buy. ’lVehnii-.-il College Old Girls were the winners in section A. and Northland look the honours in section B. Following are the results:— Section A.
