INVASION COMMITTEES IN BRITAIN

(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, April 16. Replying to a question in the House of Commons, the Home Secretary, Mr. Morrison, said that .some thousands of invasion committees had been or were about to be set up in Britain. The committees would not themselves give directions. Such directions as were needed would normally be given by representatives of the Services on the committees.

Excellent work had been done by the committees, and he was satisfied that they would 'till a useful function.
