Seasonal Changes. Coming A new schedule of times and frequencies has been announced- from Daveutry for the I’acifie Service, which includes the special talks -and messages for New Zealand. It will come into force as' from 5 p.m. on Sunday, New Zealand summer time. 'Tlie full news bulletin at b.lo p.m. and the headline news and commentary at S p.m. remain unaltered, but the newsreel, which for some months has been heard at 9.30 p.m. reverts to its normal lime for New Zealand winter, 7 p.m. Tlie commentary following tlie S p.m. news will, in the new schedule, be the final item of the transmission, which will close at 5.15 p.m., but the broadcast wilt open at 5 p.m. instead of at 6.10 p.m. An interesting appearance among tlie fixed items in tlie new schedule is the serial “Front Line Family.” Hie adventures of Hie ‘'British Family Robinson” in wartime. This serial has been very popular for a number of months with listeners to Hie 8.8.C.’s African and North American services. It will be heard daily from Monday to Friday at 7.30 p.m. A new schedule of transmitters comes into operation at the same time.
