The provision by the industry of the lines of communication motor transport companies must prove to be <>f great value to the Dominion, and reports indicate the preparedness and readiness of these companies to do any job required of them.”

The election of officers resulted :—-President, Mr H. Simpson (Auckland) ; vicepresidents, Messrs. W. I. J. Blyth (Wellington), J. H. Kirkwood (Dunedin), C. J. Mahon (Auckland), and A. Moon i Auckland).
