BRITISH TANKS’ SUCCESS Sanguinary Battles In Burma (By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright.! (Received March 7, 1.20 a.m.) MANDALAY, March 6. It is officially announced that British, tanks and supporting infantry, north-east of Begu, inflicted terrible losses on the Japanese during a sanguinary battle for the Ran-goon-Lashio railway.
