Decisions On Abandoned Tournament (Bv Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, January 22. At a meeting of the executive of the New Zealand Bowling Association tonight, replies were received Bom nonexecutive members of the council unanimously agreeing to ' the recommendations submitted to the council by the executive on the subject of the abandoned New Zealand tournament at Dunedin. They were: <1) Thin entry fees for the tournament be refunded in full; (2) that the next championship tournament be held in Dunedin: (3) that the executive lie empowered during the period of the present national emergency to dispense with the calling and holding of the annual meeting unless the emergency cvtnes to a speedy conclusion; (4) that if by March 31. it still tnqiears impracticable to call an annual ipeeting, no election of councillors take place this year, tlie existing officers and councillors to remain in office for the next .vein. It was re|K>rted that the bowlers’ patriotic fund had now reached between £6OO ami £7OO.
