Dominion Special Service. CHRISTCHURCH, January 8. The Canterbury Jockey Club’s summer meeting on February 7 will not be held at Rlccarton because of the grounds and buildings being occupied by the military authorities. An application has been made to the Minister of Internal Affairs to hold the programme on the Motukarara racecourse’ About 20 miles from Christchurch, and it is expected that the necessary permission will 'be forthcoming.
