COLLECTION OF RATES
Budgeting to receive £629,462 in rates for the current financial year, the Wellington City Treasury had collected £329,617 up to the end of December. A 10 per cent, penalty will accrue on all unpaid rates as from February 21 next. To the end of December iu the preceding year, £304,008 was collected.
