Cricket championship competitions will be continued in Wellington this afternoon, when the following senior matches will be decided:— Wellington Association: Johnsonville v. Hutt, Hutt; Kilbirnie v. Hutt Valley Association: Trentham (Army C) v. Trafalgar Park, at General Motors; Trentham (Army D) v. Moera Stop Out, at Hutt Rec. No. 6; Bell Park V. Empire, at Bell Park; Eastbourne v. Metiers United, at Eastbourne. Women's Association: —Senior: Technical Old Girls v. Kilbirnie, Prince of ■Wales No. 2; College Old Girls v. Wellington, Prince of Wales No. 1. Junior: Onslow v. Trinity, Emerson Street; College Old Girls v. Technical Day, Tanera Crescent; W.A.A.F. v. Midland, Nairn Street. Yachting. The Wellington Yacht and Alotor-Boat Association will continue races for the provincial X class boats for the Campbell Cup, and also trials for the Idle Along class, ofi Welliugton harbour, today and tomorrow. The course will be substantially the same as in previous years, the two senior races starting and finishing off Point Jerningham. Cornwell Cup and Tauranga Cup trials will be conducted iu Evans Bay. Baseball. , . The Wellington Baseball Association will continue its championship competitions this afternoon, when the following games will be played in the International League:—Ford v. O.P.T.’s A, Strand Park, 3.30 p.m.; Hutt v. Miramar Aces, Kilbirnie Reserve, 3.30 p.m.; Jenkins Gym. v. Broadway Demons, Polo No. 1, 3.30 p.m. Amateur Athletics. A training afternoon under the coaching scheme will be held at Hataitai Reserve by the Wellington Athletie Centre this afternoon. Lawn Tennis. The Wellington Lawn Tennis Association will play the following interclub matches on the Miramar courts this afternoon: — Second grade men: Technical v. Air Force, Miramar courts 3 and 4: Seatoun v. Lyall Bay, Miramar courts 5 and 6. Third grade, mixed: Newtown v. Seatoun, courts 7 and 8; Crawford Hill A V. Crawford Hill B, 9 and 10; Air Force v. Te Ope, 11 and 12; Technical v. Broadway, 13 and 14.
