Bridge Circle Members
Wall vases of Irises and bowls of peony roses decorated the Pioneer Club rooms on Monday night, ivhen the bridge circle held its final gathering foi the vear. There were 29 tables or players, accommodation being tul-.y tU A. e< basket of lovely roses was presented to the president, Mrs. J. -tNicholls, by members. A presentation of six crystal goblets was made to tne Mrs. F. McAuley. Sneaking on behalf of members, Mis. Nicholls referred to the fine organizing powers and -the enthusiasm of Mis. McAuley for her work in connexion with the 'bridge circle. Mrs. McAuley, who also received a nouquet of roses, spoke of the help given by the president which had meant so much. The circle had held several large parties during the year for Patriotic funds, Mrs. Nicholls pointed out. lhe prize for the highest score for the year was won by Mrs. Houstin. Mrs. Nicholls was also a prize winner during the evening.
